I’m seeing a ton of Harris signs planted on the side of the highway and in public right of ways… I’m tempted to draw dongers on them

What, you mean Trump didn’t ACTUALLY get a job at McDonalds. #legacymedia

Using city property for political endorsement? You should complain in the same way that that one city made the guy stop projecting Trump onto a watertower.

The Amish voter registration is interesting because the Amish do things as a community and from what I know are fairly strict… meaning that nearly all of them will actually vote accordingly, as a community

100% my parents lived down the street from them in East Otto, they would help them when needed. One time they called my dad because one of the wife’s births was going poorly, my dad rushed her to the local hospital and they did a c section. Momma and baby were ok, but baby would have died otherwise. They would drop off a loaf of fresh bread and a dozen eggs every week for years until my parents moved. They still write each other from North Carolina. I have the one brother make me custom furniture, they are great.

That rumspring thing tho…

Also. In fairport ny.

The Amish work ethic is insane. My neighbor just had them build a huge 12x24 shed IN A DAY. Here’s the progress:

12pm when I came home for lunch:

1pm when I went back to the office:

4:15pm when I got home:

6:30pm they were gone:

My route is out in Boston, NY, and there’s a few contractors that use the Amish guys exclusively. They can put up far bigger structures than that in 1 day. I see them all over the place. It’s absolutely comical how much faster they are than other contractors. I’ll see a foundation for a home being poured. The regular crews will be there for 2 weeks pouring it. Then it will sit vacant for a month or so. Suddenly on say Monday, I’ll see 10 guys in blue shirts, by Tuesday the entire house is up, and they’re working on the roof. By Thursday they are gone.

Early voting in NY is actually pretty ok.
The wife and I are planning to go today so I don’t have to deal with voting on 11/4. So we will cancel out the vote of my brother and sister in-law

My son just turned 18 on the 22nd and went to register but could not.
I guess they must have issued his new non Jr license and he did not have the new document number. Then he never went to the DMV to register in person. :frowning:

Now his vote will not cancel my daughters. I told her to vote for Jill Stein, but I doubt that will happen.
