Ben had a good game, but it was our defensive/offensive line that won that game for us, we dominated on both of those fronts. The 8:50 drive in the 3rd quarter that netted us no points won the game for us, they couldn’t stop the running game even with 8/9/10 people in the box.

I was one that also said that I believed Maddox would be the starter. After that Ravens game, there was no way to think that Roethlisberger would rattle off 5 straight wins, especially with the last one against the Patriots.
If you would have said after the Ravens game that Big Ben would be 5-0 going into Philadelphia, 95% of members on the board would have said you were full of shit, Whitey.
Thats why guessing and prognosticating is fun, sometimes your right, sometimes your wrong, no one is 100%!
NOw that we’ve seen Ben play, I think we are pretty sure how good he is. And we have a VERY serviceable backup in Maddox in case somethign goes wrong
ya hes good and all but we still havent seen him play when hes down yet. we also havent seen him play with adversity. being in pittsburgh we know that the minute he fucked up bad the fans are gonna be all over him which will happen.
