Today I agreed to buy the 1975 Delta 88 convertible that I’ve been talking about. I’m going to throw new springs in the front and get it inspected, and I’ll bring it to the first meet after I get my license back.
Talk about pulling a 180 from the Metro style of rides! :bigthumb: Enjoy.
better pray gass prices go down
i’m keeping the prizm too.
and i still have the Swift… when my mom’s Metro dies, I’ll drop the Swift engine, tranny, and brakes into it and have three cars.
Let me go on record right now as saying I think this is a horrible idea. :sadwavey:
blanyer is my nigga. The first step in the right direction is always the hardest. :bigthumb:
post pics, whats a delta look like
The Mothership
thats the damn truth
i was going to pay the guy in payments, but he’s in a hurry to unload it, so if he sells it before i find out what i owe the Homosexual State of Ohio, it’s not my eighty-eight.
and it looks like an old Cutlass gave an old Eldo some roofies, and knocked it up… here’s a pic of the same model, but not “mine”…
if the guy does sell it before i have the cash, I’m picking up a 1993 Subaru Impreza. even if I buy the Olds, I might buy the Impreza anyway.
for someone obviously of signifigantly higher than average intellegence, you pick some really, um…interesting cars to buy. Save yo money and get something nice, nugga! I could see you rolling in a nice AE86. Dont see too many of those around, theyre Toyota, old school, and RWD turbo > NA FWD.
get an old school BMW 2002 tii , Porsche 914, Datsun 510, Alfa Romeo GTV. Delta 88 = Bad investment
, Datsun 510,
datsun? you touch that thing and it will disinigrate. Get the olds and retire in style.
AE86 is NA RWD
Yea , Buy some blaze orange Gators. And a cane with a fake Ruby. Then play on playa
the 88 could be a decent lowrider…with some work…hydros, 13-14" wires, etc…
but not my choice…i’m more of a fan of old school caddys, impalas, & towncars.
I saw one for sale this past weekend out in the murrysville area…guy had it in the stanfords parking lot…is that the one your buying??
not if you put a turbo on it.
seriously tuned NA AE86 with individual throttle bodies > turbo AE86
90-95% of the AE86’s on the drift circuit are NA
