Nah, it does have a little surface rust in the radiator housing and shit. Had a look at the underside the other night when putting in my endlinks and it’s not looking purty either :sad

Ya, it was the previous owner’s daily, drove it in and out of Boston every day (lived in burbs, worked in the city). The fucked-up-ness of the front bumper also shows that he used Braille to park, or at least he people he parked next to did :headbang
The only things he did right was add LoJack and wheel locks.

dave, get rid of the coolant bubble. put a resistor in the harness for the level sensor, and get a filler neck with the pressure cap, then get a sneaky overflow bottle from summit or something between the chassis leg and the fender! and bypass that throttle body coolant.
Is that VR6Zach’s car from VWV? I remember the build of that car. It was while I was building mine. I sort of miss my MK2. I brought it back from the dead and pretty much restored it. By then I was so pissed off at it I just sold it. Never even registered it.
sadly the level light is fucked anyway, but I would like to ditch it. and I already did the throttle body hose delete
