these tariffs are quite divisive up here. mind you, it’s the same people that went along with the disastrous lockdowns and mandates for hte last bullshit crisis that are doing it again this time around.
i hope Trump is able to isolate the damage largely on to our leadership class and not alienate those that support him (otherwise) up here.
we have to wait for the next moron to be appointed to lead the liberal-communist party so they can lose the election that cant be set until after that.
and the whole country is bleeding out. crazy part is that the angst is being directed at Trump and causing everyone up here to argue about that even though those same people blaming trump didnt react in-kind to the various escalations of the carbon tax that have already had a greater impact than these tariffs that havent even been imposed yet.
because; the media told them carbon tax was good but orange man bad.
I’m looking forward to a trip up North later this month to hang out with some ‘conservative’ Canadian friends. Not conservative in the traditional sense, but by Canadian standards.
They were all in on anti-trump everything, so trolling will be entertaining. Until the wives make us stop anyway.
I’m going skiing for 3 days/4 night at Mont Tremblant president’s week and I’m wondering if I should practice up on my Canadian accent so they don’t spit in my food at every restaurant. That’s Quebec, your hardcore Canadians with 50% maple syrup in their veins.
i went to an industry event for the first time since all this and it came up in the first 5 minutes of talking to people… they brought it up… i made it clear… there is no downside to a 51st state.
