so I got one of those dumb “i’m looking at gay porn” texts, and ever since I open it, everytime I get atext or call my phone screams “I’m looking at gay porn”.
I powered down my phone, took the battery out, deleted the msg, I don’t know what else to do.
While extremely funny, it’s getting pretty old, it even does it while my phone is on silent. WTF!

Step 1. Admitting you have a problem.

if you’ve deleted the message, I’m not really sure. it almost sounds like a software glitch. you may need to reflash the OS
By default all of your silent settings are silent. But, it sounds like something was changed. Just go look at your configurations for each of your sound Profiles (under Advanced… scroll down when selecting…) Then you can edit each one and go through looking for out-of-place settings.
On my BB I don’t see a “set back to default” option, but perhaps your version does. I’d look for that…
something like this happened to my boss at work. he has a BB tour though. he ended up taking it to verizon and they told him it was his OS (newest one that just came out). he had to downgrade to his stock one and that solved the problem.

I removed the battery for 5 minutes, and now it is fixed.
