Blitz turbo timer

I believe that all blitz (if not all major brand timers) have 2 sets of wires. One is to be spliced to the harness for the ignition. And the other one has 3 wires, typically orange, white and purple. I know that 2 out of 3 wires do not have to connected because North American cars have no shift-lock and it’s not necessary to connect the speed-sensor.
Which colour wire is for the brake?
And where is the optimal grounding points for the 2 black wires from the timer?

do I HAVE to connect the speed sensor wire?

probably not, I think that just measures your speed against how long it should cool down. Might as well though, it would be a piss off to have it not work for lack of 1 wire connection

ok, jus 1 more question
my blitz TT has instructions but they’re all in japanese. and I know there’s 2 kinds of ECUs for the SR20DET. How can I identify which ECU I have and which pin do I connect the speed sensor wire?

on the side it will have a code; 62, 63, E5, E4 etc…

search google for a pinout for that ECU code…
