All new cars are heavy. Deal with it.
…beaten…twice. :poke:
I wonder how many people are missing the obvious: Twin Turbo Inline Six from the factory…
too bad its bumper explodes
"BMW’s new 3.0 liter twin turbo engine makes power exceeding its 300 horsepower rating. Even in stock form, extreme chassis flex can occur under full boost.
This accident occured when a 60 year old woman was test driving a 335i while her X5 was in for service. Full boost was reached in 1st gear at 20 mph, the car began to flex under extreme torque, and body pieces exploded. No one was hurt.
Countries importing BMW vehicles equipped with the engine may have to declare them as superweapons. The issue will be discussed at 2007 UN meetings."
:word:
Yeah that is a hardcore drop off… “wanna race to 30?”
You have no clue what you’re talking about. Go listen to disturbed and rock out.
My friend traded his 05 325ci in on one of these beasts. I guess they are very tune/chip friendly for making big power. He was supposed to bring it up here over Thanksgiving but at the last minute decided to take his fiance’s X3. Bastard… I was really looking forward to test driving his 335.
You don’t actually think that’s real do you?
Pretty sure he posted that as a joke.
and the poopra was too (new).
Autos weight 3,500
6spd manuals weigh 3,400
Pretty sweet.
Should be interesting to see what the aftermarket can do with the engine. I am sure a single turbo kit is already in the works…
E46 M3 vs. this guy. Which do you choose?
Sure it’s on a very similar platform to a stock Supra, but in my mind (for whatever that’s worth) it isn’t fair to call it the next Supra until it gets a reputation for running double the factory power output on stock internals without blowing up.
Whatever. Call it the next 326RB if you want. Whatever it’s called, I want one.
