So I dl’ed this game, my comp froze, i restarted it, and now everything is huge and shitty resolution. what’s the deal?

I tried to play this game but I absolutely suck, I did not make it once around the track without at some point understeering a corner into the wall and adding about 3 minutes to my time. Wow.
