BMW'ers come on in...

I need to add on ON/OFF button to my roadster and am looking for a factory looking option for this. I know e36’s use the same button look/form as mine but not sure of e46’s.

So post up some pics of buttons that would fit in this blank and what function it has currently so i know if it will work:

I’ve done this alraedy for my iPod/CD changer switch by using a canadian e36’s ‘Hi Fi’ button shown here:

Thanks!

just get another button that operates the top. That should be just a simple switch…

Are you looking for someone who actually has the button?

I’m confused…

Just looking for what people have in their cars so that i can get one from the dealer.

i don’t want another top button (or another button i have) cause i want it to look like it belongs.

2 top buttons don’t look like they belong. And the top button is a momentary switch, i’m looking for something with a toggle function like the radio button i added

just use the key

Well what do you need it to turn on and off… that might help.

Just get another top up/down button and then lightly sand it so the top graphic is gone and vinyl something new on it.

e36, e36/7, and e39 use that style of button. However e39’s also bridge into e46 buttons in the center console.

What Mike said. I believe most accessory buttons for e46 are rectangular and the writing on them is horizontal.

Its something to turn on and off while driving if need be. Key wont help :stuck_out_tongue:

the up/down is momentary, i need a toggle type like the HiFi or Rear defogger buttons i have on my back panel.
