There auto’s have paddle shifters in many models if you order the “Sport Auto Trans” option, the new M line’s have the replacement for SMG, called DCT. I believe the current E60 M5 is the last one you can buy with SMG.
Anyone know if they do any design/engineering work here or is it all production/manufacturing based work?
Assembly only. The only thing they do engineer is the equipment in the factory. They don’t build or stamp any parts. Engines,transmissions, interior parts, and everything are shipped in. Ipso facto, no design/engineering for the cars themselves.
