So I’m pretty set on the mtech2 stuff - it’s very “euro” without being too racey. Seeing as it was OEM option / factory accessory parts (the stuff sold now is all high quality replicas imported from Sweden iirc) fitment is excellent…
Front Bumper:
Rear bumper / spoiler - I might leave off the lower piece of the wing:
That’s the rub, I can’t get the oem/mtech2 skirts here in the US, and nobody’s selling them used… but I think since those have the “family” feel / e36 M3 look (albeit “backwards” - but I prefer how it flows more gradually back that way) it should work…
I haven’t decided 100% on color yet but I don’t think it will stay Alepinweiss2 (white). Probably 95 4dr M3 Byzanz or e60 M5 “sepang bronze metallic”
byzanz (at night, its VERY copper-penny in the day, not at all like the GM color):
I’m REALLY leaning toward the Sepang Bronze Metallic as it’s (probably?) never been done on an e30 and it’s much more “classy” than “performance” - I want this to look more like a cruiser than a race car. throw on some nice bright-silver wheels, my smoked hella headlights, etc…
Couldnt DISagree more. I think that if your going to have front and rear vailences(sp?) then you need to have side skirets to tie it all in. What about factory sport side skirts? I just think that you need to have the very bottem or the front and rear carry all the way around the car so that it all looks stock. This requires the use of sideskirts All of this of course is IMHO
well, i guess this is a perfect reference. These are the sideskirts I got, will go on when I take my wagon in for paint over winter. here they are on a coupe with m tech II front and rear bumpers (qimis from maxbimmer’s car)
also, the ones in my sig are BMP. i sold them to someone on r3vlimited, but he just got m tech I sideskirts so these are probably for sale if you want
and if you do want is/touring sideskirts, I have a pair I might sell
