bring it bitch:thumbup
I would not purchase a boost gauge unless it also measured vacuum. Knowing the engine vacuum can be a good troubleshooting tool at times.

GReddy makes good gauges but pricey. I really like PEAK/HOLD/WARNING. But, I LOVED my GReddy E-01 which was EBC w/ built-in gauge. It would record by RPM/BOOST. Fantastic.
Agreed, elec is the way to go and fuck trying to look at a gauge…if you can look at a boost gauge while you’re car is WOT, you need a faster car.
Yea, it’s a bit scary if you are looking at the gauge WOT.
I won’t lie. I was starring at it when I went 33PSI on 100% stock block with jays05 in the car. I was just WAITING for the motor to pop.
Same with a wideband, kinda hard to watch everything when your at WOT.
Datalogging FTW!
I’ve tied my shoe before at WOT.
Autometer stuff, for the most part is pretty crappy.
My autometer works just fine going by sound (SC), SC light on the dash, what PSI my pulley should be at, and mah butt dino. It’s also helped me find a vacuum leak. And, it’s beat to shit (the silver housing thing) and has been in jiggs’ older brother’s old yellow GSX and xreaction112’s first 2G DSM (GSX or TSi, can’t remember) :rofl
Agreed.
my autometer reads identical to my tuner which gets its signal from the ecu…
My autometer guage reads 2-3psi more then my ecu…
Your gauge reads positive pressure when the cars off
That’s the power of HTA, son.
Its true. It flows so much air that the boost gauge reads positive even when on the moon.
