Boss 302 at Laguna Seca...

Love it or hate it, this is impressive.

color is similer to hugger orange, which is a gm color from the old trans am racing days

Or even more similar to Calypso Coral, a Ford color from the days of Parnelli Jones and Trans Am

The Laguna Seca B302 is what Chevy needs to benchmark for the Z/28. Do want :tspry:

This is the first Mustang that has ever impressed me.

Definitely impressive!

It’s the R8 that gets me… faster than an M3, cool, but an R8??? I wonder if that would be just around laguna seca, or if it could beat them around say the 'ring too.

+1

I never trust these stupid numbers.

who was driving all of these cars? The skill of the driver has SO MUCH influence that it’s hard to just say that that the mustang is faster. If it was the same person driving, and he had hours to practice in each car before doing the laps, I would be more impressed. It’s a pretty good outcome for the Mustang, though.

Idunno, that’s just my take. I’m a bit of a domestic hater though, so there is your extremely biased opinion for the day.

it’s the track record for each of those cars.

Faster than a R8?

domestic hate on NYspeed? That never happens…

at least I can admit it

it’s definitely a great outcome for the car…what does the boss 302 cost?

BOSS 302s start at $40,145.
Laguna Seca Package is $6,995 which is basically the only option on the car.

That is bad ass.

My co-worker has one on order. Knows some people and will be there watching it being built and will drive it off the line at the end.
To say he is excited is an understatement.

This was definitely thread worthy though.

my coworker has one on order and it should be done 3rd quarter of this year, he is always on the ford forums reading up about it

seems pretty impressive and its making the gt500’s tank in value lol

the gt500 is a bit of a joke if you ask me. My opinion is influenced by my love for handling though.

edit: that really is a good value for 47K for a track ready car with a warranty.
