Bought ITR Recaro's and...

Just bought some ITR Recaro’s for the 240sx…yes…the 240sx. I knew the brackets wouldn’t line up to begin with. However, I figured with some modification they can be fitted. Just as a back up, I bought S13 brackets and sliders off a guy selling them for $10 lol, couldn’t pass that up. So now comes the question, do I somehow modify the integra brackets to fit, or do I somehow “fit” the seat onto the S13 rails?

And what kind of work is involved in modifying the brackets? For reference, I have an S14

why don’t you flip the seats over and look at the brackets

Anyone here who is actually knowledgeable in the area of modifying seat brackets?

well and s13 bracket will bolt up to an s14 floor, as for the mounting points on the teg seats i don’t think many people here would know. Your best bet would be to look at the mounting points and compare that to your brackets.

you can do either or…

it doesnt matter

because in any case you will need to do some fabrication and some welding

its probably easier to use the 240 rails and then modify/add to them to fit the ITR seats

keep in mind the inside edges of the S13 floor are higher than the outside edges
