Buffalo News overstepping their bounds?

They are PUBLIC officials, so no, its cool with me. Every person in america knows what the military makes, because its based on a scale. Every public paid for official should have thier pay made public. Shit in virginia they publish the CCW (concieled carry pistol permits) to include name and town. That first ammendment can be a mother fucker.

i belive there are a lot of justified salary’s there and a lot that are not.

For instance, i don’t believe the average payroll for the secretaries should be reaching $50K.

On the other hand, there’s about 15 people i know on that list that are making over $100K and wouldn’t want their job.

The thing you don’t see, is there are a lot of “temps” who are making $$$ and aren’t even on that list. “Temps” who have been working there for nearly 10 years.

why is it 2 years old.

jeez… i had come across my company payroll files on my own…
nobody did anything for me…
but, for me its useless information, since i shouldnt know it.

77k for a drafter… thats got to be some kind of record?

theres a few janitors on the list making 55k plus a year. thats about 26.50 an hour… not bad, not bad. but if they’ve been there 15-20 years or more, i can understand that.

man a lot of those people made more in OT than I do in a year

Just because someone remains uneducated and unskilled for 20 years does not entitle them to make 50% more than they should be paid at market rates.
