If it had a turbo 6 cylinder

just a little curious here, all these new cars without cut-outs for the passenger side air-bag. basically when it deploys you need a new dash? seems a bit silly

This one is just a concept. But also consider that when it goes off, You’ll be happy if all you need is a new dash.

im guessing thats not a finished interior, but I like the direction GM is going with interiors.

yeah, it might needs some doors also…

I hate sideways air vents… once they make it all plastic for production it will suck just like every other buick.

I picture buick as the wounded sad old hound dog, just waiting for somebody to come along with a double gauge and put it out of its misery.

I like, probably have the 3.9v6 powerplant.

it will probably come out… be based on the same chassis as 9 other GM cars… and be a ton fatter, look like an enclave… and trailblazer, and envoy… fuck

QFT

I think you missed the point on this one… lets say you have this new buick and a 94 civic for example.

you get in a 14 mph fender bender, both bags deploy in both cars. on the civic as many other older cars, you have a little airbag door cut out on the dash allowing the bag and door to be replaced from the top.

on the buick the airbag blows a hole in the dash and you have to now get a new one or live with the hole?

^^^this is the question I have

im sure the production one has cutouts

this wasnt a question about the buick in particular if you look at the first post in this thread, also, many low $ production cars no longer contain cut outs.

rav 4 for example :

i have to agree that is a buick i would drive too it looks really nice.
