just to give you an idea Pete, this entire frame is being wrapped in 3/16" steel plate on top of what’s already there from the factory & this thing is a helluva lot thicker than unibody metal to begin with!
frame is flipped, going to finish stitching tonight and bend / test fit the top x-member plate.
also going to try and make my bracket / template so i can cut those factory a-arm perches off

FUCK measurements. I set them back where they were for the time being, I’m not real happy with the jig. Going to re-make it this weekend and make it a little sturdier. I should’ve done it the way I was explaining when you were there, but after you left i turned into a metal-jew. Then I ran outa wire. LOL
I have some scrap metal, strips/angle if you need some.
i could always use scraps… i was thinking of putting a sign out front “DO WANT SCRAP METAL”
I need scraps as well, but if you are in a pinch and need something just call me.
