Build thread ... 83 Coupe Deville

hehe

We could roll mob status

I posted in your battery thread, but I have a bank of 5 batts that may interest you, heres the specs on em, WAY better then g31 yellow tops

http://www.northstarbattery.com/data_sheets/TeleCom/NSB125.pdf

whats the ticket?

make an offer on em, my competition truck is gonna be down for the year due to me trying to finish paying off all my bills and be debt free by the end of the year, so they do me no good sitting around. They usually go for $200/each used, but im willing to make ALOT better of a deal on these

pretty sure they are 15x7"

i have them on display at gearhead. i had them on my '88 eldog. looked just fine:D

fuck… i wanna do 8 batts though… wish you had 3 more!

sorry bro, i gotta roll 13s. i’ve never had anything bigger than a 14, even on a hopper.

Drive bys?

5 of those batts is equal to ATLEAST 8 g31 yellow tops. They are some heavy duty batts, each one weights 120lbs, short circuit rating of 5000 amps and they are known for the super fast discharge/recovery rates

can you deep cycle em? how the fuck am i supposed to make 5 batts look cool?

no problem wayne, just figured i’d throw it out there. i have a few e&g classic grilles for said eldo/ seville as well. if you know anyone who might be interested let me know. they are both brand new never mounted, and i’ll let them go for cheap.

wtfbbq i NEED one of them for mine… wish they would fit!

Yeah, they are deep cycle sealed batts, mainly used for cell towers lol but they have been used in the car audio environment for a few years now.

If you go by AmpHour ratings alone, 8 g31 yellow tops = 600, 5 nsb 125’s = 792

fuck… how much for 4? whats the warranty

i need a cca rating on them… i don’t see it.

they are about a 18 months old, and they have a 10 year float life. As long as you dont abuse them TOOOO bad id imagine they would last for years. And why not just get 5 lol ive got the buss bar for them all drilled and everything

They dont rate them in cca on the site, ive been told its in the 1400 cca range

i’m not building a hopper here, just lay and play. at this point you’d have to be a significant amount cheaper than what i pay for 31s… what group # are these? i’m worried about if i don’t like em what i’m gonna do with my rack.

I dont think they have a group rating since they arent a typical automotive use batt.

What would you pay for 8g31’s?
