NEWARK, Ohio – Most people arrested for driving under the influence are behind the wheel of a car, but Newark, Ohio, police said they cited one man on charges of riding a motorized barstool.[RIGHT]

Officers said a 28-year-old man, whom they did not identify, crashed the bar stool on a public street. Officers determined the man was under the influence of alcohol and cited him with OVI.The incident occurred on March 4. Officers released the information in order to remind citizens that operating any type of machinery after consuming alcohol is against the law.
