Buying a new car for about 5k

was looking at turbo saabs any good?

98, 158k. About 3k in work in recent years. Runs/shifts strong. Has a few small issues (nothing that affects driveability), but has been a winter beast so far.

Perfect for the winter

:facepalm

As mentioned before, the WR Blue Pearl WRX in the Vehicles For Sale section here is $3500. Appears to be in decent shape.

rusty strut towers and almost 200k. Junk.

They are good till they break down. Some parts are reasonably priced, but others are very expensive and not everything is easy to work on. Over all they are well thought out and put together, just make sure you get maint. records and they are all up to date if you consider buying one of these.

Subarus don’t rust…right?

The older ones used to be real bad with rust

any decent turbo car that wont cost me arm to keep up on?

grand prix gtp’s are supercharged… far superior to turbochargers

i did look at that but only thing that kills me is it being auto

I would say subaru makes one of the most reliable, but they have a known issue with headgaskets on certain years. The techs in the Subaru shop at the dealership I work at are replacing them constantly, not really that hard of a job however the parts are kinda pricey. Saab did make a good vehicle, but your gonna be looking at a rather old one for the price range your looking in.

achou is backk

any dif between the 9-5 or 9-3 are they any good with there engines?

miss me?

nooooo mister achou

What happened to that Jeep you got last time you was 'round these parts? If youre into flipping cars, you better start liking Hondas lol
