:bsflag: then again the pre 87’s were dogs 5 speed or auto :kekegay:
SSsuperchargedE-I’ve read some of ur posts and u seem to really know what ur talking about. Perhaps ur in the minority here.
Slowcamaro-
at the track i never seen one run faster than a 15.7…and i raced a few and never lost to one…i highly doubt they run faster than a v6 camaro
X2
Here it is, a stock 3.8 Camaro is faster than 3.8 Mustang-Granted production for the fbodies ceased in 02. Track ppl often mod their cars, so I’m sure that speaks even worse to v6 pony owners. Regardless, you can research the times urself by looking at R&T, C&D, and better mags that do this kind of testing. Here’s a great example using my year car of how the ponies don’t measure up.
1996 Mustang:
Base Engine Size: 3.8 liters
Base Engine Type: V6 Horsepower: 150 hp
Max Horsepower: 4000 rpm Torque: 215 ft-lbs.
Max Torque: 2750 rpm
Curb Weight: 3077 lbs.
1996 Camaro:
Base Engine Size: 3.8 liters
Base Engine Type: V6 Horsepower: 200 hp
Max Horsepower: 5200 rpm Torque: 225 ft-lbs.
Max Torque: 4000 rpm
3306 lbs.
compare an 02 vs 02
werd. My Maxima would have annihilated a 96 Mustang. 50 more hp same curb weight. I raced one of the newer ones, which have 190hp 220 tq.
are you ready for me?
:eek3:
daily driver vs. daily driver!
your signature is horrible, Thank the heavens i have you on ignore now :blue:
anyone feel free to compare an 02 fbody to an 02 stang for the v6ers. i’m not concerned
I honestly could care less, the race could be timed with a sundial
I’d rather compare the 2003 Mustangs to the 2003 camaros :kekegay:
OMG!! hahaha that is so funny! Its funny because they didnt make a camaro in 2003! !!!
you should compare it to a 1983 Corvette too!!! !!!
:ugh:
