So, did you get a stellar price on it or pay msrp?
i asked about that, and they told me that in the event of the company going under that they have their warranties more or less outsourced out, but the dealer handles the work, so i would still have it. hopefully
sticker was 26 and i walked out with TTL 19200 before downpayment, with 3 yrs of oil changes and wash tub car washes
i woulda given my left nut for a rubi but the starting prices on them are around 33-36k
Rubicon is a good start but you can build a much better rig with the extra 13k. I actually didn’t know the JK unlimited was going for that low. Good new for me I guess.
yeah thats kinda why i went base because the only real things i woulda liked to have was the front rear lockers, discos and the 4:1 TC
but exactly that, for 13k bucks i can do 90% of that work for about 2500 or less
also, i think prices are a lil cheaper down here cause we dont have the snow to compete with. your 4x4’s will always be more expensive up there

whyd you sell the benz?
depends on if you can build it yourself. Dana 44 front, 4:1 crawl, front and rear lockers, and 2" lift are always a nice start. Not to mention the upgraded seats, stereo, wheels and a few other little things
its yellow… and i sold the benz cause it started breaking… and 2200 bucks worth of work for a car that only has 60k miles on it was not for me.
i took the top and doors off today… it was FINALLY a nice day for a change… and supposed to be in the 80’s all week so :eekdance:
meh, i like it better with the doors on and top off…that middle pillar just looks out of place.
looks good. If you want cheap mirrors pick up a pair of stock harley mirrors. They go for about 10 bucks on Ebay all the time.
yeah, actually i read that on the jeepforum, but the harley store was closed today, im planning on picking some up tomorrow, cause its REALLY awkward to all of a sudden not have mirrors.

Those pics of your jeep just reminded me how much break-over angle on stock JKs suck. You’re gonna have to lift your jeep 3" just to match a stock TJ.
Don’t pay full price for mirrors that don’t really do much. Either buy them on Ebay/craigslist or order a set of relocation brackets.
i dunno if you realize how tall that thing is… i went to a car show today and there was an XJ that was lifted 11" with 35’s parked beside me and i swear to God, he may have only been 2 in taller than me. i know that sounds crazy, but thats what the guy said he had on his XJ
it sits very tall as it is, and the one they had in the showroom was 3" lifted and it was about as tall as me, and im 6’3’’
