i dunno if you realize how tall that thing is… i went to a car show today and there was an XJ that was lifted 11" with 35’s parked beside me and i swear to God, he may have only been 2 in taller than me. i know that sounds crazy, but thats what the guy said he had on his XJ
it sits very tall as it is, and the one they had in the showroom was 3" lifted and it was about as tall as me, and im 6’3’’
your ground clearance is still right around that of a TJ. The TJ has a 93.4 wheelbase, 8.5-9" ground clearance, equaling a breakover angle of about 22.5. Yours is 116" WB, 8.7"GC, equaling a breakover of 17.8.
also remember that a XJ body is 7-8"(depending on year) inches shorter than yours. So that height difference you saw is all in the body
