so i went and bought a megan racing c-pillar bar for my 89 240 hatchback but it will not fit because the bar seems to be just too short (about 1.5" too short) At first i figured i may have gotten the one for the coupe by mistake so i traded it back to the shop for a longer one that was supposidly for a 240 hatch but this one is still too short. so i was hoping that maybe one of you guys have one of these installed in an 89-90 hatch and could help me out cuz this is driving me insane! it should’ve been a simple install and should have been in already and only taken 5 mins but the damn bar wont reach! another thing i have noticed is that the rear seat belt mounting points on the c pillar is different between the years of 89-90 and 91-94. 89-90 having the hole closer to the outside of the c-pillar facing the rear quater glass and the 91-94 having the hole closer to the inside further away from the window) but if this is the problem why does megan list the bar as fitting 89-94?? any help/pics would be great!! 
I have no idea but i have had 3 from fulbown before i got one that fits :roll:
and by the way i have a 91-93 hatch.
The first one i got was too short also. :?
