I’m going to see Def Leppard and Poison on the 26th of June and am interested in camping out. I know Darien Lake offers camping but they require at least a 2 night stay and want like $214/night for a 6 person site. That does include park admission but I don’t really want to stay for two nights. Are there any other camp sites near the park (within walking distance)? Thanks.

If you camp in the park its about a mile(depending on the site) to the campround
How about on private property? Can you pay people to camp on their property usually? Is that even legal? Mabey something across the street from the park? I’m a camping noob!

if you stop drinking after theshow start you will be fine. me and my friends do it every year at darien lake and we are fine after the show to drive

but more seriously… I was just at coldplay and there were a lot of taxis after the show… you could take one back to your campsite / hotel / etc…
or if you’re going with a bunch of friends just hire a limo or some random poor nyspeed member to drive you there and home.
yeah I used to work at DL and was all over the place durring concerts. the campgrounds are FULL of hotties. I would suggest getting a spot in either to 700’s or 1100s. highest concentration of hot bitches around that area. don’t know why. just always works out that way. Also, there is a bathroom at the top of the 700 hill, and another in the 1100s. The one in the 1100s has a new bigass hot water tank ( I installed it) so yeah, that shower house never runs out of hot water lol.
I’ve herd that there is a place called Sleepy Hollow that has camping close to the park. Anybody herd of that?
How is Darien Lake with respect to the whole drinking thing? We plan on getting pretty crazy while camping and don’t want to get kicked out.
ill be camping at the state park that night after the concert.
as far as drinking at the park campground, we’ve never had a problem and tend to get pretty rowdy.
