i just picked up aem tru boost and dont understand it at all im looking to install it on my turbo honda civic asap before my tune date comes up willing to pay someone with experience with installing them pm me on here if u can help cars not on the road yet so i cant drive it im located in saratoga springs
Easy to install. I live in saratoga but am unfortunately quite busy for awhile here.
red wires go to a key on power, black goes to chassis ground. The gray and orange wires are not needed for basic use(used for datalogging and scramble), BCS harness plugs into the back and runs to the BCS out in the engine bay(if wires are terminated bare they can be hooked up either way). Boost reference line runs to the back of the gauge which should be plumbed to the plenum
BCS vacuum routing will be dependent on your wastegate setup and how you want it to perform, pictures in the instructions are very straight forward with that.
You could just pay the tuner install it. If they can’t figure it out then they certainly don’t belong tuning the car to begin with…
