325 shipped on ebay

I saw the ebay price, just wondering if it can be beat.

:stuck_out_tongue:

i got zapped

ill look for ya

I think I pay 299 for that deck plus the shipping from NYC Area

I scooped one up on ebay used for 275, which i thought was a pretty good deal.

It arrived today, and to my surprise, in the box with it was this 200 dollar rear view camera!

WIN! (as long as everything works!)

The person accidentally included a camera? Nice…

Yeah, and not some POS chinese camera either…

how does the camera work? Does it just interface as an aux input?

Svideo, but comes with an RCA adapter.

IDK if i can run the camera and the music at once tho. have to see…

Hopefully i can have the camera on almost all the time… that’s what i’m hoping for.

does the head unit recognize it as a backup camera or just a video feed?

It recognizes it as a backup camera, there is a reverse indicator lead on the headlight, i’ll probably just wire it to a switch.

hmm, that sounds cool. I didn’t see anything on crutchfield about a backup camera for it.

yeah, i have the manual here, there’s a wire specifically meant to tie into the reverse light circuit, but i want more control.
i also got the ipod interface, which is cool.

website says the ipod interface only works with nano and ipod video. that really sucks.

i have an ipod video. I have no need for anything else, lol.

yeah, I have the touch. I actually like this HU a lot because it has the detachable faceplate. Dissapointed about the lack of navigation and other ipod support. I could get around the ipod thing, but no nav stinks. I don’t think I could trust a double din nav unit in any of my cars though. I would be too paranoid.

edit: I am a picky bastard lol

Here you go. I have never really felt the need to have nav, but if you want it:
Single din Nav

That just goes to show how out of touch with car audio I have become. That is awesome. And 40GB of internal storage fucking rocks.

That could definitely be a near future purchase. Thanks dude
