…fabricate an air intake for me tomorrow? My stock piece is broken, and no one makes an aftermarket piece. i want to replace everything up to the throttle body.

looks like thats set up just like my old aveo…do you have foglights on the front or just the spot where they can go…i fabbed up a intake that’ll work better than the stock one with very minimal mods
Mike,go to a muff shop…do u know anyone who works at one> They could make u one for cheap or anybody with a tube bender.
i have the foglights. i share motor mounts with the aveo (i have the same motor plus another 500cc), but i think the intake is a bit different.
i don’t know anyone who works at one. i’m going to go to hybrid tomorrow afternoon, i guess.

Before my aveo got hit i made an intake that used the spot where the fog lights would have been…the honeycomb was drilled out and i put some piping behind it and up behind the wheel well and into the little hole that goes into the engine compartment…there i had a k&n on a pipe leading to the TB…the power increase was felt at low mid and high rpms and if you have an auto it’ll help with the “flat spot”
