Exchange rate is 126 now so might leg it up there tonight to play some cards and craps. I don’t drink when I gamble so the free beer isn’t a big deal to me.
What has a better environment for table games and which one has a better poker room?
Probably will play some 1-2 $200 max poker. Does fallsview limits go that low?
I dont know about the poker room. I mostly play blackjack and roulette. I like the American casino way more because i hate dealing with the exchange rate even when its in our favor. Somehow they manage to fuck you over both ways, dont ask me how. There always way more crowded in Canada and never have enough tables open.
But if you are dead set on going hit up Fallsview.
Just about every casino will have 1/2 no limit and usually 1OO to 2OO max. I also don’t drink but It’s still not worth going there to play. Border bullshit, further drive, and worst of all the exchange rate is different each way you exchange your money so you get screwed both ways. For example you give them 1OO american and get 11O canadien We’ll say, them immediately give the 11O canadien back and you’ll get like 85 american back. No thanks, i see NO BENEFIT to going across the boarder unless you’re not old enough to play in an american casino
EDIT:
lol…i said i don’t drink didn’t i…whoops…i don’t drink WHEN I GAMBLE…
yeah if you’re planning on just exchanging money it’s not a bad place to do it…but i can’t justify getting screwed by receiving a different rate both ways, both in the casino’s favor, when i have a place where i wouldn’t lose ANYTHING on my money, closer to home…
i used to play daily at casino niagara when i was <21 and there WAS always tables open. American casino blows they don’t open tables they want them all to be full. only after 8 once in a while they will open some. I never win at American one either but i’m too lazy to deal w/ bs at border
um… i was just at casino Niagara 2 nights ago with friends… and they do not have free drinks… i have never seen any casino up there serve free drinks… Niagara or fallsview
In the poker room (Seneca Niagra) they have girls walking around taking drink orders, which are free but everyone usually tosses them a chip or two for a tip. I haven’t been there in months though.
Also, if you’re exchanging USD to CAD, playing, winning, then going right back to USD from CAD, the exchange rate being higher is not going to help you one bit.
If the exchange fee is a static percentage, it will make it LESS bad, but you’re still LOSING money.
i agree, alot of them were dressed like they just left one or were on their way to one. i had to of seen 50 hot broads in there every hour when i went last week
I dont know any good bars on Wednesday nights so I might hit up the casinos tonight. Thinking about Canada for the idea of just having boston pizza and shit around there to wander to.
