Where Can I convert Canadian currency to American dollars without a fee?

M and T charges 4% and i dont feel like spending $400 bucks on converting this money… esp. when its worth more than the US dollar. Any ideas?

tell the guy buying your bike to convert it and pay you with US currency so you don’t have to deal with it. I never made the seller convert my money when buying over the border, that’s just fucking stupid.

For some reason I remember doing this at Citibank a few times, even though it’s not my bank. I’m pretty sure I went there because it was free.

Hold on to the Canadian due to a falling dollar and make the exchange in a couple of months and make a few %.

i would never exchange money at the casino…they don’t give you enough both ways.,…the rate varies at the casino depending on which way you’re changing it and they screw you both ways…

i have a friend that works at the bar at TGi Fridays and she told me to just bring it all there, and they will accept it for what it’s worth…she ended up just ringing up somebody else’s tab in canadian, giving me their american cash, and then using my canadian to pay for it…

bump so i don’t get called out on a repost. won some money at the casino on the other side and the cashier would only give me like 7O cents to the dollar. I don’t know what the exchange is now but that sounded horrible. My bank told me they can’t do much better either and to go to duty free. Is there anywhere i can go without having to cross the boarder?
