Too poor for turbo so all of the parts are sitting on the shelf right now. I really just need injectors and a wideband to get it going on the stock bottom end but I’d rather wait another year and keep collecting parts for now.

Just before I put it away for the winter. Plans for now include replacing the shitty fitting and faded carbon fiber hood. Found an oem black one in nevada that I am trying to work out shipping for right now, and I want to replace the passenger side door that has some nasty scratches, a dent, and is faded from where my dad tried to buff the scratches out saying “it can’t get any worse” lol.
After that I’m gonna try and paint the hardtop black to match the car. If I muck it up too bad I’m going to have CRC do it. Still debating on what to do with the wheels. Either go with gunmetal, maybe a dark purple, or a baby blue. Also not sure if I want to leave the polished lip or paint it all. I’ve got a lot to do before spring.

how bads the hood really fit? I could just paint the CF one the car color, and maybe alighn it better.
I have a bag of Harley Black Pearl (same color I did my wifes A8 wheels in) that would look dope on those wheels! 
Dude the hood fits terrible. It’s seriously like a 1/4-1/2" too narrow… on each side. The contour doesn’t match the fenders etc. It’s garbage and I want it gone. Gonna PM you.

Ok so I guess I’m confused. How can you paint with powder? I know he powdercoats but I thought you could only powdercoat metal?
He said bag of “pearl” which is something that can be added to paint. Assuming thats what he meant, he could be referring to powdercoat also.
