car bogs at low rpms and almost stalls?

ok so i got a better look at my spark plugs today they look white so `im guess the car is leaning out so a new fuel pump may be needed?

ok so i play`d with the timing and the car seemed to run with a bit less power and no more bogging problems then just now the car started acting up again it wants to bog and studder in frist and a little in second after that the car goes fine even if i stop at like a stop sign then go no problems but i had to stop at a red light and about 15-30seconds once the light turned greent he car bogged and stuttered again

k had the same problem with my 240 the clip that hold the maf plug on was like bend and loose so it would lose contact with the maf just check to see if the plug is loose and also since it has a distributor get it to warm up and spray the wires and cap with water if it dies replace what u sprayed

it has died in the past while washing under the hood of the car even with a stock intake on it and it wouldnt start for about 45min ive changed between three working mafs they all plug in snug and dont move ill try the distibuter tommorrow

Have had similar problems with one of our coupes that is automatic:

These problems were found :

-1st time #4 injector was not receiving a signal - turned out to be rotted out pins on a chip in the ECU due to moisture
2nd time- IACV needed a good cleaning
3rd time #3 injector stopped working (had signal but was not pulsing)

hope this helps

ok thanks i checked all injectors there clean so ill check there power/pulse and i was told to try the iacv havnt done it yet but will do as well and ecu is in good shape so should i take the ecu apart and see if its rusted?

ok so my dad thinks it could be a cracked distributer as when rpms are low and im lightly on gas the car bogs hard which if a have a cracked dis. then it would not be making enough spark ie. flood engine then when i get hard on gas there is no problems does this sound reasonable?

yep im having the same prob with my daily driver its a 94 corrola

well i guess illtry tha as that could explain why the car doesnt start after a under hood car wash

i put a new cap and rotor on and no problems :frowning: i feel dumb

I was just going to suggest that, they were fucked way back. probably solve alot of your problems

ive been dealing with this issue since last year… im at the point where I am just going to take it into a shop and say here you go… fix it
