Carbon Fiber 3D printer

It does not look like a basket weave print. Is it as strong as the cloth? That is my question.

I am more impressed by the 3D house printer that can print a house a day.

It actually prints in plastic and lays down a filament of carbon for reinforcement. I am interested in how they are laying the carbon down and bonding it to the plastic. 3d printers now are just basically cnc glue guns for plastic. I would like to see a comparison of how much stronger the parts are as my printer now has no problem with polycarbonate parts which are pretty strong as is.

“carbon fibre is used to make anything that’s awesome”
