I hope he had “agreed upon value” insurance, because otherwise I can’t imagine what the BB value on that car would be.
He let his friend drive it and he put it into the wall at the drag strip. Never asked for pictures.

That’s what I would want to do.
I’m currently in the middle of that whole “adulting” thing involving building a house… so I will be broke forever now. Apparently my spending habits on cars transferred right into houses. Wonderful.
But, if I am able to get far enough ahead, I will be liquidating two of the Jeep SRT’s and one of the Vipers… and I think its time to snag;

-2019 Jeep Trackhawk
-Lambo Huracan

I did that last year, was pretty disappointed. So heavy and the trans was just a regular auto, no dual clutch, shifted so slow. Would make a nice touring car, but the money could buy a comfy car that could also turn laps.
I snagged this guy last fall, '73 240z with g nose, flares, webers, etc. Finally got it on the road towards the end of summer
I sold my M Roadster a few months ago.
Trying to decide between an M Coupe, e36 m3, or dumping $ into the Datsun (suspension ready for a refresh, wider wheels, I’m not crazy about carbs so a 2.8 fuel injected turbo motor could go fast for cheap, etc). Bimmer I could drive almost daily though, Datsun is a fair weather friend. Bimmer will prob win.
Right now my building takes every dime I have, near closing on a construction loan though that should free up all my car money
we have pretty much the same taste in cars
Ended up getting a F type R last week. Fuck it, life’s too short.
