ya i just mocked up my t25 on to my ka24de and put the compresor side hot pipe off the turbo on, well tried and its hitting the bings turbo manifold? any suggestions? is it the wrong hot pipe elbo? will a stock sr turbo manifold work? if so anybody got one? cast ?
i dont think a stock sr mani would work but i have one $25, if you wana try?
you can try to clock (turn) the compressor housing so that it points further away from the engine/manifold
i had to clock mine too. It should work after clocking. And i dont think the sr manifold will work on the ka.
Clock your turbo. Clamp the CHRA in a vise, spray some WD on the snapring and around the flange, and rubber mallet it.
SR manifold will only work if you cut the flange and re-weld KA ones on (weaksauce).
yep just dont beat on it like crazy but u will have to use a moderate amount of force since these t25 are pretty old
