Im looking at turboing my KA24DE, I was looking to get a KA bottom mount turbo manifold with a t25 flange and either useing a T25 turbo or a S15 T28turbo. Can a use a stork SR20DET turbo elbow and down pipe or will i have clearence issues with my steering in my 240?
And where is the easiest place to run an oil feed and return line to?
And are coolent lines to the turbo manditory?
And if anybody knows where i can find more information on another car forum or internet site would u let me know
thanks
First off here the “Guide”

For oil feed, either get a filter sandwich and use this to run the line to the turbo and the guide shows a good spot. Otherwise using you Oil pressure sending unit as a excellent point to feed from.
A good company (that even a sponsor for KA-t.org) is http://www.jgstools.com/turbo/index2.html . Head to the App specific and you’ll find a lot of useful parts and such.
As for the coolant Question, I don’t know, so let me know when you find out.
im pretty sure you can use an sr elbow and dp. as long as the elbow doesnt have the separate wastegate pipe. i heard from someone that you dont need the coolant line. not sure how true that is though…
When are you looking to turbo your kade? I am parting out my turbo stuff very soon.
- turbo T3/T4
- top mount revhard manifold(T3 or T4) with custom 3" downpipe that will meet up with the sr lower downpipe.
