CBR F4 electrical Q's???

I just picked up a 2000 CBR600F4 that was downed. It broke the stator cover and damged the stator itself. The kid replaced both but with a F4i one. The bike still wont start and he spliced the plugs off the stator to the bike due to the plugs being different. I don’t even think the f4i one is compatable with the non efi f4???

Any input? This is the only damaged to the bike besides fairings. I haven’t taken it off the trailer yet to dig into. But will in a bit and update.

Was the bike running when you got it? Just wondering.

Assuming a '00 600F4 is what you have or similar, and the f4i is, say, an '08, the parts numbers are different:

Not exactly an clear answer, but the two parts numbers are different and the assembly definitely looks different. I’d be willing to assume that a non-EFI motor would have a different rating charging system than a motor with EFI.

Bike was not running when I got it. This is exactly is i bought it. I assume the kid got the stator on ebay. I looked on there and they do list the f4i one the same as the f4 one. I’m going to tear it off today to check for any other damage. The bike was cheap enough so i dont mind spending a bit of money on it.

yes it is a 2000 Honda CBR600F4
