I got a Nokia 3100b the other day and when it powers on, it comes up with a “Restricted Access” screen and and ‘Undo’ button to enter a code to unlock it. Is their any way to unlock it? I’ve already been to a Cingular store and the guy was useless. I’ve seen those eBay ads that offer unlocking codes, but are those worth it?

Where did you get this phone? Is your SIM card currently in it? Is this a phone that was Unlocked and your trying to stick a T-Mobile SIM in it?
I am trying to stick a newer Cingular SIM into an older model Nokia from AT&T (remember mLife??) But I found a program that generated codes for the phone and one of them work, so I am good now. Thanks.
