changing the "can_skip_forward" value for a WMV file ?

just what the title says … ive got a bunch of downloaded wmv files that have skip forward / skip back set to false. this is rather irritating because a bunch of them are over an hour long

i was going to just convert them to avi or mpg, but the soundtrack on the files keeps causing conversion errors, but only after the file is like 90% converted. an hour+ of sapping system rescourses goes down the drain

any programs i can use to edit the 2 “false” settings to "true ?

I thought it wasnt a value and that it had something to do with the encoding.
