Cheap flights to Austin?

I’m freaking out and need to do something. thinking about austin texas for south by southwest maybe. I’m not really familiar with cheap airfare places. where should I look?

also considering virgina beach, but it’s kind of cold there now. i have a friend in tennessee maybe I’ll do that. I don’t know whatever

If you book like 14 days in advance, Southwest is hard to beat but I personally hate standing waiting in line to get on a fucking plane.

im probably trying to go soon. im seriously freaking out im so bummed. i want to go somewhere like sunday or monday

sitting wherever you want > *

I hear Austin is an awesome place, tons of shit to do. It’s also a bmx meca

Southwest has been SUPER cheap lately. I got a round trip ticket to Houston for under $200 and on the way there I didn’t even have to change planes.

Check out Southwest while they are still having these deals but make sure you get tickets at least 2 weeks in advance and try to fly on weekdays (other than friday) and you should be ok.

let me know if you come to austin… im 60 miles south in san antonio. i could take you down to south padre island where all the spring break shit is going down or other places

my guess:

sxsw > spring break

^wrd. starts wednesday and my homie down there has tabs on all the parties

but the cheapest flight I can find is 538 on priceline, and I need something in the 2-300 range. FUCK

massachusetts?

This company builds the software that all of the cheap airfare sites use. I use them exclusively, they let you book directly with the airline, instead of a third party vendor.

USUALLY booking right with the airline is a few bucks cheaper than any of those “cheap airfare” websites.

The ITA software searches all airlines, but southwest. You will need to search them separate.

I flew on NWA twice this past month, they are a piece of dogshit airline. Even if it is cheap, avoid…

I have had nothing but good experiences on southwest. The dickheads at NWA took out all the Video monitors out of the cabin, and left cables hanging there. There is no entertainment, no snack, and the planes were dirty and old.

But, they sure are going back towards profitability. They charged 30 bucks to check 2 bags each way, and every flight was overbooked to the max.

damn… u got to it first

www.farecast.com tells you when to buy your ticket, either to wait a week or buy now, last week a ticket from buff to san diego was 400, waited a week cuz it said prices were going down, bought it yesterday for 250 round trip

it’s not looking good

go to vegas?

LOL. What are you a fucking spoiled broad or something? Give me fucking break.

I’ve had really good conversations with people boarding Southwest flights. I usually make up my number so I get to sit next to somebody who isn’t potentially obnoxious.

Once I sat next to a girl who I saw eating chocolate covered pretzels so that I would be offered chocolate covered pretzels at some point during the flight.

On my first flight, I didn’t realize that it’s really best to board after a few people have already taken seats so you can choose to sit next to whomever you’d like. Instead of FATSLOP and SLUTMOM choosing to sit next to you… and then you end up with milk dripping on your head because SLUTMOM decided to put milk in the overhead container.

I prefer JetBlue when possible.

DirecTV, you can select your seat online, and no waiting in line to get a good seat. WHen I fly out of Buffalo, I show up like 45 min before my flight leaves to the gate so I am not getting there early to get a “good seat” and then sit on the plane for 45 minutes waiting for it to take off.
