Cheapest place to buy computer parts locally?

Anyone know of a independently owned shop that would have a decent selection of newer hardware?

Best buy is a joke… with their selection and prices. CompUSA was actually ok sometimes, but their out of business soooo…

There’s a reason why places like TDN don’t exist anymore man… because you shouldn’t be buying this stuff local when the deals are so much better online.

You really can’t wait 2 days for that new hardware from newegg.com?

I remember TDN…that place was where I bought my first two systems. They were definately pricey when compared to online deals. Thats why Comp USA also closed. New Egg IMO is best place for deals or http://pricewatch.com

i drive once a month to microtech in Cleveland. worth the drive. The prices are awesome and the service is great.

newegg it

techno phobia on orchard park and berg i think has computer stuff at a decent price, never went there but drive by it alot and hear commercials…

You could probably overnight the parts from newegg and still save more than buying local.

Good question dude.

The last time I had a customer drop off a PC that needed a power supply in a pinch, I got a good deal on an antec at office max of all places. 34 bucks was a fair price, not ripoff like worst buy or crap usa.
