hello 240ers.
First off, besides my passion for cars I have an equal passion for films.
Are there any other filmmaking 240 guys on here???
I’ve done some car stuff and I plan do do more, but this film I shot is a WWII film.
This is indeed a true “film” and not a video. I shot it on 16mm with a very old German ARRI camera. It’s slow paced but it pays off in the end.
Please watch and tell me what you think. It’s obviously far from perfect.

The song is actually by a guy I know. Friend of my family since before I was born.
I agree, the movie tends to feel like it was actually shot in the 40’s. 16mm can look really vintage with the proper techniques.
The camera I used was probably around when this film takes place.

Yes, the gun is real and was really used in WWII along with almost everything else he’s wearing.

I’ve got one written already. If it were to get made it would be the ultimate homage to Bullitt, but it’ll only happen if I can sell the script. It’s too big a film to attempt myself.
I’m thinking of doing a teaser maybe and just shooting one scene.
