Turbines ARE THE SHIT! I’ve seen one in a Replica F-16 Fighter jet and this thing was clocked doing close to 200MPH. They are Super sweet and I luv the sound they give off. Just sucks they are 4000+ dollars for the Engine it self. Then the price of what ever your puttin it into! I’m more into the heli’s though. I’ve had a R/C Plane with a 8 Foot wing span “Was sweet seeing it in the back of the truck driving down to the park” But the wind caught it the wrong way once and it crashed. So I repaired it and sold it.
I’ve got a honeybee CP2, basically the upgrade of the Blade CP. I’ve gotten good enough with it that I can fly patterns all around my front yard now, pacing cars as they drive down my street. People look a little confused when a little RC heli flys along at 35mph outside their window.
I can fly it around in the house as well but it’s a little bit too fast/big to be real useful inside. Besides that, it throws so much wind under it the wife yells at me for blowing shit all over the house.
