Cheeks' 700+whp Street Terrorist

That car ran like hell with 430 HP, I can’t even imagine 700.

Defintely looking at a 35r with the biggest exhaust wheel they make, I think its a 1.10 ar or 1.06 ar. That should defintely be enough to do 700 or more, which Im hoping for.
Power street allows for a 66mm inducer and nothing more, I would be there with a 4094 but as Joe said I don’t want to spend the money right now on a new manifold when I can get there using my old one. Yeah I’ll probably be maxed out on that turbo to reach my power goals but I would like to push what I have before I go ridiculously huge.
All the interior is going to go back in the car albeit a little cut up to fit the cage, but I have to have it in there to run power street.

pretty sick man…pretty sick

I am really not sure about the HP ratings on those turbos, didnt Tussy max out his 35R at 630? I understand all motors are different. I just cant remember if Tussy maxed out his 1000cc injectors, or the turbo itself… Jay or Dennis can correct me here. Either way, that turbo is going to be screaming to reach that kinda power.

wow, i’ve never heard of a gt35r flowing 700hp. that thing will be SCREAMING! I’d definitly like to see that

…and i’m sure if this is too ghetto, but why not make an adapter to go to a t4 flange?

Ill bet it dosent make 700+rwhp… its just too small of a turbo… i really hope you prove me wrong because that would be awsome! Mid 600’s yeah, but not over 700

I just ran some numbers through for the heck of it and it is way way off the compressor map. Assume .55bsfc, 11:1 a/f… 700hp needs 77lb/min air flow. Thats your biggest problem since the very edge of the map is at 60lb/min.

If you just calculate the boost pressure to meet that air flow, you’ll have to run 46lbs of boost. That turbo could literally explode at those numbers.

haters

on H-T people do it all the time, he will be ok esp with that big of an AR
my 1.01 is huge

Pretty sweet Chico, keep up teh good work man, or should i say keep dishing the money out…

looks nice cheeks, you might as well sell it now before you blow it up again, you know its gonna happen. well im still going to beat you since i am the king of rt8 and all…

eh, it can be done, although not smart. 40 psi made 665 on our stock block motor with ass for cams and no headwork on a .82 A/R housing.

secondly, the turbo cheeks plans to run is not a 35r, it’s the ball bearing T04R/35R hybrid with a 1.01 exhaust housing. should have no problem cracking 700.

welp… should have a nice looking power band then :tounge:

Well that explains the whole story… good luck Cheeks!

damn cheeks, that car was already pretty sick…

x2. I’m bummed I never got to ride in it during a north park event, but will def. have to catch a ride after the new build.

I rode in this car when it was Kolar’s with the 3076, and my lord that thing was fast.

it still had the 2871r on it probably, there hasn’t been a 30r on it for almost 2 years

woot, cage is starting to come together

pics?

Cage is looking good, got most of it tacked up last nite:
