i picked up an old posi unit at a garage sale for cheap, but i dont know what it fits and would appreciate some help. it has “GM1” “410409N” “B24”(which i think is the date code) and “66”(either 66 or 99 spaced out). It has the old style ‘S’ spring between the spider gears. the lady at the sale had no idea what it fit since it was her husbands and he wasnt there. i thought maybe chevelle since they are fairly common, but i have no experience when it comes to identifying differential sizes. thanks for any help!

I doubt it’s a posi if it’s got 2.56 gears or worse.
