sold my complete nissan cima/q45 diff asembly to another son member
they opened it up later and found an aftermarket 2 way with a 4.36 final gear/ gear ratio, whatever he said (makes me think nismo with that ratio)

How do they know the final gear? Is it stamped somewhere?

b) count pinion teeth

as for it being a 2.2 i hope therewas a bran crowler 2.32
