Thats actually a Tomei cluster. Very nice for sure but I dont think its a bolt on like the regular jdm clusters are, i think there’s some wiring to be done not 100% sure tho.

you take apart your nissan cluster, take the oem speedo out, and replace it with the tomei

my speedo only goes to 180km/h and the needle stops around the 6 (if it were a clock face)
on stock tires and sr20 tranny and stock rear end 176 mph at 7400 rpm which is around 278 kph

Aside from the fact that speedo’s read faster than you’re actually going at those speeds…
…Scott’s described top speed looks pretty accurate.
On paper it would be:
7400rpm, 0.759 tranny final, 4.083 final, 24.69" tire diameter = 175mph
The other thing to consider though is that no stock KA will rev to 7,400 RPMS…only 6,900 RPM’s on the DOHC for example, the SOHC being even less. So that’d bring the top speed down some.
0.759 is 5th gear in a KA24DE tranny. 0.838 is SR tranny 5th. im too lazy to re-calculate it though.
Ah… yeah I tried looking for the S13 SR numbers but couldn’t get them anywhere. (Do you have a good source btw?)
So KA has less rpm but taller 5th gear…
SR with 0.838 would be 160mph at 7500 RPM
KA with 0.759 would be 161mph at 6800 RPM
