my grandma organizes ours with this technique. I put Armstrong VCT tiles for my new garage on my list, want OSB and fiberglass too, but 4x8 sheets and batts aren’t wrapping paper friendly.
The site is very convenience. Everyone can post their wish lists there just like in a forum. You can ask the person that you picked for their sizes, colors, or whatever they like without they know who you are 
We used to do it the old way and it always got messy.
