Ive only been to the last two (2001 and 2012) and it wasn’t the same, but just as good imo.

I’ve been twice as well. 1998 when Rod Millen ran his “Tacoma” and in 2006 when the original Escudo won(now it’s an “SX4” or something like that)

Miss the dirt, and yeah the runs are going to be serious fun to watch but it really was something back then when those racers really would put it all on the line and drive their cars within feet of sheer drop cliffs on gravel.

mt washington wasn’t run in 2006, and I don’t think Rod Millen ever ran there.
It still has most of the 2nd half dirt too.
